Multimedia
the missing link in classical music
PetsAloud is the musical brainchild of the Pet sisters—Kaitlin & Nikki Pet. We use animation to visualize motion in music, and PetsAloud products allows us to create and perform those animations. Our visuals don’t just accompany music performances. They amplify the movement, color, and emotion embedded in musical scores, creating experiences that are visually captivating as they are musically rich.
We’re classical musicians who love the narrative power of this art form. Beneath every phrase lies a story—full of tension, release, character, and emotion—a story that musicians and seasoned listeners instinctively follow. But for many audiences, especially kids, that story goes unheard. Without musical training, it’s easy to miss the cues that bring the music to life.
And today’s audiences are used to fast-paced, visually rich media—from TikTok clips to Taylor Swift concerts—making traditional concert formats feel even more distant.
That’s where synchronized multimedia comes in, using precisely timed animations to amplify classical music. This repertoire is already full of rich and compelling narratives—our visuals bring those stories to the forefront. By visually underscoring phrasing, structure, and dramatic shifts, synchronized media makes classical music more immersive, accessible, and engaging for everyone.
PetsAloud was founded to support artistic creation at all levels.
In addition to creating personal and commissioned multimedia works, we develop tech-enabled solutions like Live Video Accompaniment (LVA) and Sing&Sync that make multimedia performance more accessible and engaging. Whether for professional musicians or children just beginning to explore the arts, these tools empower users to imagine, create, and perform rich, expressive multimedia experiences.
At our current stage of development, we are looking for partners to collaborate in creating multimedia performances leveraging our tools. In addition to helping you create live and digital multimedia performances using the latest cutting-edge technology, your collaboration will also help us further refine and advance our products. If you are interested in working together, contact us.
